One man has been fined more than $1000 and two others banned from the Safe Night Precinct following a brawl which saw police deploy a taser.
Police were called to a large fight on Orchard Av in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, about 2am on Sunday as the altercation escalated.

A 43-year-old Aratula man was issued an infringement notice for public nuisance and fined just over $1000.
A 18-year-old Aratula man and a 19-year-old McKimba man were also issued banning notices from the Safe Night Precinct.
Police have not confirmed which man was tasered.
Chief Superintendent Kylie Rigg said officers used force they believed was reasonable to stop the violence.
“Those officers are highly trained to make decisions in split-second moments where issues and assaults are potentially escalating,” she said.
Footage of the brawl appears to show a security guard throwing punches.
Police said they were aware of the vision, but the guard has not been charged or fined and no complaint has been made.
Officers could not say what preceded the fight, with Rigg pointing to the late-night setting around licensed venues. “It’s reasonable to conceive that people are affected by alcohol,” she said.
The use of force will now be reviewed as part of standard police procedures. “We always review use of force matters,” Rigg said.
No-one was hospitalised and police received no reports of injuries.
Police are also examining body-worn camera footage, CCTV and vision supplied by witnesses as the investigation continues.
