A driver was trapped after his truck crashed and rolled in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney on Tuesday morning.
The truck hit crashed with a car and flipped on its side on Chifley Rd at Corney Town, just east of Lithgow, about 9.10am.
The truck driver in their 60s was trapped in the wreckage due to a leg injury, but declined hospitalisation after they were freed, NSW Ambulance told 7NEWS.com.au.
The driver of the car involved — a man in his 50s — suffered lacerations to his head. He also declined transport to hospital.
Chifley Rd is closed in both directions near O’Connor St, according to Live Traffic NSW.
The Great Western Hwy is also already partially-closed between Mount Victoria and Lithgow due to continuing work at Victoria Pass.
“This crash means the diversion route is closed as well,” NSW Transport Management Centre said.
“Motorists already in the area are advised to allow plenty of extra travel time and follow the directions of emergency services and traffic crews on site.
“Motorists are advised to delay their travel between Mount Victoria and Lithgow.”
