Twin brothers have defied the odds once again after securing their second life-changing lotto prize.
The 65-year-old siblings from Albany in Western Australia’s south will split the $1 million they won through a recent game of Millionaire Medley.
The windfall comes less than two years after the pair claimed Set for Life.
That win in February 2025, which delivered them $200,000 upfront and $20,000 a month for 20 years, was used to purchase their sister’s home.
Now, with another dose of good fortune, they plan to pay off the property and travel.
“We’re set now,” one brother said. “We’ve worked physically demanding jobs our whole lives but now we can relax a bit more, pay the house off and then we both want to get caravans so we can travel around Australia together.”
Both winning tickets were picked up at Clarks Newsagency in Albany.
“There’s a lot of excitement and talk and it’s encouraging people to come in store, especially people who usually play online,” a newsagency spokesperson told 7NEWS.com.au.
“We are a busy shop anyway and I’m sure it will get even busier.
“Generally people are excited and surprised (about the second win) — most people say good luck to them.”
Lotterywest spokesperson Nikki Wilson-Smith said it was rare to welcome the same players back into the winner’s room.
“Winning a major prize is a memorable moment for any player, but to experience two significant wins within such a short period is remarkable,” Wilson-Smith said. “It’s wonderful to see these brothers using their prizes to secure their future and enjoy retirement together.”
